Geological and geotechnical consulting and design
We offer any kind of geological, hydrogeological, geotechnical and in specific cases even geophysical (electrical resistivity tomography – ERT) exploration. On the basis of this date we prepare ground investigation reports according to European Standards (Eurocode 7), with consulting for foundation, infrastructure, tunnelling, excavation support, landslide mitigation, and more. Our goal is to always get a comprehensive and profound understanding of the unique subsurface conditions in each project site. Our team of experienced engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers is planning, calculating and checking a wide variety of construction measures and preparing geotechnical design reports according to Eurocode 7. During construction stages we also offer supervision and monitoring services to ensure a smooth and safe progress to the benefit of our customers.
Geohazard assessment and mitigation
Assessment of mass movements and torrential hazards like landslide, rockfall, debris flow, erosion and snow avalanches by our interdisciplinary experts. Based on geomorphological, geological and hydrological mapping we provide a holistic approach to define hazard areas. In a next step the design, verification and implementation of mitigation measures and/or protection structures is provided to protect vulnerable infrastructure and society from events. Finally we support and design monitoring and early warning systems to ensure a safe operation of roads, railway or hydropower plants for example.
